Vince Pompe van Meerdevoort received his Eigenharp Alpha and recorded a nice unboxing video of it.
He also started a blog where he’s sharing his exploration into the Eigenharp world. Definitely keep on eye on this one: http://eigenharpist.com

My band Marvin got the third prize in a regional Belgian music contest. The local television, ACTV, was intrigued by the Eigenharp and aired this little interview … in French though …

Mike Milton adopted the Eigenharp immediately when the instrument first came out two years ago. He followed its evolution closely as a musician. The new Workbench tool of EigenD 2 provides unprecedented visual access to the Eigenharp’s configuration. This book gives a great overview of what’s possible and how the inner workings of the Eigenharp and its software EigenD can be useful for making music.
This is not a how-to, it’s written for people who are interested and want to know more about how the Eigenharp works, what is can do, and how the software is structured.
This book is written for the iPad and fully leverages the multi-media capabilities of iBooks 2, including a very informative video by the Eigenharp’s creator John Lambert about the innovative design of the playing keys.
The book can be freely downloaded from iTunes.

Aki joined the band, playing live drums together with the two Eigenharpers.
Additionally, Subba-Cultcha interviewed the band ahead of BangStrokeBlow’s performance this month in Club Kamikaze on the 25th of May.
The interview can be read in full on the Subba-Cultcha website.

Joel plays the intro of Einaudi – I Giorni on his Eigenharp Tau just one day after he got his. Amazing! Really looking forward to see where he’ll be taking the Eigenharp!

Yesterday, I finished the setup of my Eigenharp with microphone, together with an additional dynamic microphone for Nathalie with in-ear monitoring for both. I’m feeding back Nathalie’s voice back into EigenD so that I can hear her and vice-versa.
I was afraid of latency, but it turned out great and the virtual channels of my Metric Halo ULN-2 once again proved invaluable.
It looks like we’re technically set for our first duo Eigenharp gig next Saturday.
It seemed to me that it would be interesting to draw out the whole routing and connection diagram, with all the gear I use. Even though this is quite specific to the capabilities of my Metric Halo audio interface’s virtual channels, I think it might help some people to understand what the possibilities are and how much functionality is gotten out of just a few pieces of gear.
On stage, this presents itself very cleanly with just me with my Eigenharp and Nathalie with a microphone.
If you want more information about this setup or about specific parts of it, let me know. I might be persuaded to record a walkthrough video with commentary about the parts that seem to interest people.
Here’s the list of all the gear I’m using:
