I look forward to seeing what you think when you start playing it. I’m curious how the wooden keys compare. I’ve been debating saving some money and going for a Tau, or going full-on with an Alpha with some custom trim. I think wooden keys might feel nicer under the fingers, but I don’t know.

The wooden keys are wonderful, IMHO they’re well worth their price and maybe even the premium of going towards the Alpha. Your physical relationship with the instrument is even more personal and intimate. I said on the forums that the wooden keys give you a sense of sensuality when touching the Eigenharp.
